Your Questions About Dog’s Life Rescue

Sandra asks…

Muslim but adopting a dog to rescue it?

Salam Aleykum Wa Rahmatullah!

My question is, if I can adopt a dog to rescue it because it would die maybe or suffer etc. I am a muslim and I know that dogs are not that allowed nor their saliva.. (okay I am a new muslim but it is still not an alibi..).
So, can I save a dog’s life and adopt it just to save it? Or is it haraam?

How can one distinguish a mixed Rottie puppy from a pure breed?

I want to buy a Rottweiler puppy in a country where there is no certification or authentication in place, and fraud & cheating is a way of life. I have been shown a few puppies at different places, with huge price differences. Each seller claims that his puppy is pure breed and the others are not. Now, I will have to distinguish a pure breed by the appearance and markings only. Can anyone provide any tips or specifics I should be looking for?

What are some ways to tell my parents about fostering dogs?

What are some points to make while convincing my parents to foster dogs?
What are some good ways to convince my parents on fostering dogs?
Well first I really live dogs more then anything. I want another dog but my parents won’t let me and I know this would be a good way to see if we’re ready for another dog. I would buy all the toys and supplies besides the shelter pays for the vet and stuff like that. We have a huge piece of land like 3 acres that is fenced in so the dog couldn’t escape. I already trained my dog.(he is a very calm dog one of the calmest in the world he never barks or chases anything he always licks your face and never jumps on anything) and I trained him like that. I also have a cat but she likes all animals. I just need some reasons to tell my parents. I just never had the puppy I wanted and my parents don’t understand it. Like I said my dog is awesome but he doesn’t fetch or play and when we got him he was already pretty grown. So ya that’s basically it thank you for trying
First I haven’t actually asked my parents yet so I just need some good reasons to tell them why it is a good idea. And I don’t need a puppy I would be fone with a adult dog. My dog just looks so lonely to but my parents just think its my imagination. I would preferably like a puppy but I would be fone with any age dog even an old one.
My parents won’t let me keep another dog so I thought if I foster then I might prove to them that I can. And I’ve learned that not every thing in life is permanent which helps with the attachment. Mainly because I’ve lost many pets from cancer so ya…

I’m also 13 so I can’t move out and I do spend lots of time with my dog I’m training him in agility for an hour every day after I finish my homework. I also feed my dog and clean up after him. Please don’t be b*tchy. I just want some good thing to tell my parents when trying to teach them about fostering.
And lastly I know the amount of land we have doesn’t matter I was just trying to say I didn’t live in a town house or apartment. Basically my dog runs around our property all day. Thank you! Please just don’t say : your bot greatful or stuff like that you don’t understand how much I want it.
