I had to have my rough collie put down but was wondering if it was the right thing to do? He was only 9years old but had a funny heart, arthritus all controlled with medication. But then a tumour on his side burst open (even though I had taken him to the vets 3 times regarding this lump and they said nothing to worry about). The vet said they could operate but he then lost control of his bowels pooing green and black stuff. So I chose to have him put down. But as we where waiting to go in he was jumping around and licking my hand. I know its to late now but just curious to see if anyone thinks I was wrong. I didn’t want him to suffer because I loved him so much?
