Do you let your dog sit on the couch?

We are so undecided about this but need to make a decision fast before our puppy claims the couch as her own.

She is a Rough Collie and will shed heavily 2X a year.

I just don’t know if we should not allow her on the couch. I know that when I have gone to friends homes who let their dogs on the couch I leave full of hair. I would hate to do that to my guests.

Any Suggestions of what to do? Do you let your dogs on the couch? How do you control the dog hair if you do?

How come my puppy isn’t potty trained yet?

She is a Jack Russell, Border Collie mix. We have had her for a month and like 1 week and she is about 3 months and a week old. We are not paper training her she has a kennel but when she is in the house she goes in the house. What should we do. Her name is Sasha. Thanks!

My pup is 5 weeks old, the mother is a black and white collie and has a medium coat and the father is a blue merle collie and has a rough coat. I’ve only seen a picture of this pup and I was wondering if anyone knew how to tell if your dogs coat will be rough or smooth? And what causes smooth coats?

How long is a healthy life span for Manx Cats?

I had a manx cat who passed away overnight last night. She was about 4 years old. Is this a normal life span for this type of feline? She was very healthy, used to be an indoor/outdoor cat but had been an indoor cat for about a year and a half. She was also perfectly fine yesterday.

People care more about animals than other humans?

This disturbs and annoys me to the core. They would rather save a dog whose life span is maybe 15 years than another human. Why???
