What is the average life span of a dog diagnosed with diabetes?
Our 8 year old poodle has recently been diagnosed with diabetes. He is on twice daily injections of insulin and commercial pet food, canned and dry, twice a day. However, I’m reading reports online that say he will have a shortened life span regardless of treatment. Does anybody know from personal experience how long diabetic dogs can live?
