Your Questions About Dog Training Denver

Charles asks…

How can I make this sentence more correct? *a dog related question*?

“Perhaps you could try contacting the American Kennel Association (AKC) and then ask them if they hold any training classes or not.”

I am trying to answer someone’s question in another forum but I don’t know if I’ve said it correctly or not. Could you please help me? Thanks!

admin answers:

Well, here’s the problem with your response besides that AKC stands for American Kennel Club, not Association. AKC is a record keeping organization and does NOT hold any type of training classes at all. They hold Conformation Shows, Agility Trials, Obedience Trials, etc., etc. If the person is asking about a certain breed, you would need to tell them to contact someone from that specific breed club, such as the Doberman Pinscher Club of America, the West Highland White Terrier Club of America, etc. Once you go to the National website, you can look for further information for the exact area, such as Denver, Tampa, Detroit, Cleveland, and so on.

Add: So in other words……”Perhaps you could try contacting someone from the (Insert breed name) Club of America, look up your state and location, and get in touch with either a breeder or member of that given Club to see if there are any training classes near you.”

Laura asks…

Is Chris Andersen the most popular Denver Nugget player?

Everyone seems to be fascinated by his blocks, his tattoos, and his hair.

admin answers:

As a die-hard Denver Nuggets fan I must say that each player is very popular with the fans. But Birdman is especially popular considering how much energy he brings to the game, all the great blocks and dunks he makes, his crazy hair and tattoos, and of course his incredible comeback story that has inspired so many people to never give up. He cleaned up his life and came back to be one of the best defensive players in the league! 2nd in blocks behind Dwight Howard, playing around 20 minutes off the bench!

But we love all our players here in Denver. When almost everyone on your team has a nickname, you know they’re loved:

Carmelo Anthony: Melo
Chauncey Billups: Mr. Big Shot, King of Park Hill (or Thrill from Park Hill)
Kenyon Martin: K-Mart
JR Smith: JR Swish!, Prodigy
Chris Andersen: Birdman, Birdzilla, Bird
Nene: The Thrill from Brazil (or hey, he’s just Nene, what’s cooler than having one name??), Big Brazil
Linas Kleiza: LK, L-Train, Lithuanian Liquidator
Anthony Carter: AC
Dahntay Jones: The Hound Dog
Renaldo Balkman: Perfect Stranger

I don’t know, I love them all.

Ruth asks…

What would be a good song to sing in a preformance?

I have the opportunity to sing in a Performance after school but I can’t think of a song that I would be able to sing. I am a Soprano pretty much so I would prefer to sing a song that has been sung by a female. I will be able to have a bass player, a guitar (Acoustic) player and wind Instruments as well. I don’t want to sing pop or love songs. Thank you for your suggestions.
