Your Questions About Dog’s Life Ending

Laura asks…

Should I have my dog tattooed for identification purposes?

I have been reading about this and it sounds very smart. I read that they give them the same stuff as when they are being spayed to fall asleep. I also read that it takes up to 15 seconds to finish the tattoo.
It will have phone numbers and a addressees. I also read that their is no redness and most peoples dog’s woke up a didn’t even notice. I have a collar with contact information on it to. My dogs stomach does not have any hair on it, so it is just skin. The tattoo will be a little larger than the size of a quarter.

I know of Microchips, but I have been reading a lot of how some dogs became sick or ill from them. It will only take 15 seconds to write contact info and their is no hair on her stomach so it will be very noticeable. I just want to make sure my dog is safe if anything bad happens.

Sandra asks…

If you were certain that life as you know it would end tomorrow, would you spend your last day with your dog?

And what would you do? The questions about a dog’s last day got me thinking. I love my family, but if life as I know it were over in a day, I think I would spend the day with my dogs (and my husband). Ideally, we would travel to the Adirondacks with the canine and equine family and spend the day playing in the lake, hiking and letting the horses graze and run around the large field. I think I would be content. What about you?

David asks…

Can anybody give me information about Boxweilers?

My dad is going to bring a puppy boxweiler (breed between a boxer and Rottweiler). However, my family and I had never had a dog especially of this kind. I don’t know nothing about this dog’s characteristics, temperament, and care. Can someone give me some information and tips?
Sorry, my dad told me today. I didn’t even know he was going to bring a dog. He didn’t buy the dog, his friend gave it to him.
